You can access 'Palais LeBrun' by car although it is located right in the heart of the historical area of Valletta, only twp blocks away from the central square.

A SHORT HISTORY ABOUT THE PALACE

Le Palais - The Building dates back to 1606, making it one of the earliest private homes to be built in the city. In the early 1700s the palace became home to 'The Illustrious Knight Claude LeBrun', and was later handed down to Giuseppe LeBrun and Giacchino LeBrun, both of whom held the honour of being Masters of the Mint of the Order. During these years the LeBrun name became famous for silverware and coin mintage after having aquired their mark, which today we have developed into our hotel logo.

In 1905 the building was leased out ot the Borg Oliver family, becoming the childhood home of Malta's first Independence Prime Minister, George Borg Olivier, whose father, an architect extended the house by building a bridge on the second floor over Eagle Street to be used as a private chapel.

Since 2018 the palace has been renovated as one of the most luxurious Valletta hotels. It comprises of 28 rooms and suites, a pool deck enjoying lovley sea and city views, a fitness centre, and an elegant restaurant which was originally the staff's quarters.
